This upscale apartment complex in uptown Charlotte is one of the first of its kind to host a hive on the roof as a facility amenity for their residents.

Davidson, NC, is noted as the 37th Bee City USA in the Nation. It was spearheaded by the town arborist, who used to work at Central Piedmont Community College and pushed for community hives there as well. We are proud of the community hosting and appreciation for our hives!

St. Matthews Catholic Church contacted us for a bee cut out/removal. We have since “rehomed” these bees into hives on the church property. St. Matthews has a 10 hive apiary that they now use within community education, school excursions, and community functions.

Basket Case Farms is a non-profit farm managed by the Gambrell Foundation. They rely on our hives to aid in their crop pollination. All honey that is produced on Basket Case Farms is donated to a local foodbank.

The Gambrell Foundation is a large local philanthropic organization made up of the Belk and Gambrell families. It is heavily invested in local non-profits, sustainable initiatives, and the local community.

Oaklore Distilling near Matthews, NC, is committed to giving back to its community. The bonus of having fresh locally-produced honey to use in their honey-coated bourbon barrel spirits is just a cherry on top.

MNB was one of our earliest corporate sponsors and our very first retailer. They sponsor an offsite apiary and use the honey on some of their menu items. Make sure you the try Bee’s Knee’s cocktail and the Hot Honey Pizza!

Central Piedmont Community College boasts two “rehomed” hives that were both on campus initially. These hives are flourishing in their new hive homes and CPCC has also used them in ongoing educational purposes.

This local catering company wanted hives on site to support the honeybee, now they have fresh local honey on hand to use for their catering events.
